As creepy and unsettling as comedy gets, Jam was adapted from Chris Morris's experimental Radio 1 show Blue Jam, a heady mix of surreal monologues, ambient music and dark and distorted sketches. Featuring Amelia Bullmore, David Cann, Julia Davis, Kevin Eldon, and Mark Heap who Morris had worked with in his early satirical shows, such as The Day Today and Brass Eye, it's controversial and bleak but certainly original and, of course, very funny.
