The Rebel Series 2 Episode Guide The revolution has begun - again! Six new episodes of The Rebel arrives on Gold. of 6 Episode 1: Money Henry attempts to help out his daughter Cath who is struggling with astronomical rent rates (made harder by her husband, Jeremy, enjoying a sabbatical teaching in Lesotho). Yet, when the Bank is far from helpful and the Letting Agent is unwilling to cut them some slack, Henry is forced to face the prospect of selling his house and downsizing to a retirement home. If that's the case, he isn't going to go quietly, so it falls to Margaret and Charles to come up with a rescue package. Episode 2: Death Cath’s lodger, Amaya, offers to drive Cath, Henry, Margaret and Charles to a friend's funeral. However, her best intentions are quickly ruined when Henry insists on making the journey on his Lambretta. While Charles sees the journey as an opportunity to get closer to Margaret, Cath’s anxiety for Henry’s safety reaches fever pitch when his beloved Scooter ends up in a hedge, and he is forced to take public transport. With Henry due to give the eulogy, being late is not an option but, in fact, it’s touch and go if he’ll even make it at all. Episode 3: Health An unwelcome surprise birthday party for Henry inspires him to go out on 'the lash' to prove that he’s still as fit as he was in his youth. But a misjudged late-night dip in the sea seemingly leaves both him and Charles very much worse for wear. As their symptoms deteriorate, they end up in hospital, with Henry finding the modern day 'customer'-orientated NHS too much to bear. Meanwhile, Charles' efforts to distract Margaret from the romantic advances of the suave Dr Cranmore land him in an isolation ward. Episode 4: Drugs When Angela (Charles' ex-wife) is arrested in a drugs bust, Henry and Charles embark on a novel scheme to raise money for her defence lawyer. The ever vigilant (and vindictive) PC Burns quickly smells something funny, and goes undercover in an attempt to catch them in an illegal act. When the scheme starts to rapidly unravel, it's up to Margaret and Cath to try and save the day. Episode 5: Sex A regular Northern Soul night at a local club is providing Henry with the perfect opportunity to let his hair down – and in true Brighton style that means 'anything goes'. But by persuading Margaret and Charles to join him, it looks like the fun will be short-lived when he lands the former with an unwanted admirer, and the latter in a dangerous liaison with an ex. When a suspicious Charles then overhears a conversation between Henry and Margaret suggesting they are now an item, it looks like their friendship could be finished. Episode 6: Love Henry is doing his best to support Cath as she comes to terms with the fact Jeremy is staying in Lesotho for good. Their dwindling family is hit further by a burglary at Henry's house, which includes the theft of the urn with the remains of Henry's late wife inside. With the police unable (or unwilling) to do much to help, an even more erratic than usual Henry and Cath take it upon themselves to reclaim the ashes and embark on a journey into Brighton's criminal underworld.
