Comic chameleon Catherine Tate inhabited many classic characters in her award-winning, self-titled sketch show but perhaps the two most memorable came from different ends of the age spectrum - argumentative teenager Lauren "Am I bovvered?" Cooper and Joannie 'Nan' Taylor, a gleefully foul-mouthed grandmother who constantly swears at and criticises other people. It's the latter that got her own spin-off series of specials and the character translates splendidly to these stand-alone stories.
