  1. NAME OF COMPETITION: He Who Dares Giveaway.

    1. METHOD OF ENTRY AND COMPETITION QUESTION: Entrants must visit: http://gold.uktv.co.uk/only-fools-and-horses/article/only-fools-competition/ and answer the question by inputting either a, b or c in the web form.
  2. PRIZE: 3.1. There will be one (1) prize winner (the “Winner”) and nine (9) runners up (each a “Runner Up”), collectively, the “Winners”.

3.2. The Winner’s prize will consist of the Prize Pack (the “Prize”) which includes:

  • A hardback copy of the book He Who Dares by Derek 'Del Boy' Trotter
  • A Del Boy Reliant Regal Supervan tea pot
  • A Lovely Jubbly mug
  • He Who Dares pyjama set
  • Del Boy official dressing gown

3.3. The Runners Up will receive one (1) copy of the book He Who Dares by Derek 'Del Boy' Trotter (the “Runners Up Prize”)

3.4. No alternative prizes will be given and the Prize and the Runners Up Prize are non-transferable and non-exchangeable. However, UKTV reserves the right to change any part of the Prize or Runners Up Prize due to circumstances beyond its control or to offer alternative prizes of similar value.

3.5. The Winners agree to absolve UKTV from any liability that may result from or is claimed to have resulted from participating in the Competition or from the acceptance or use of any Prize. Nothing in these Terms in any way limits the Promoter (or any other person or organisation’s) liability for fraud, or death or personal injury caused by negligence.

3.6. It is the entrant’s responsibility to pay any and all applicable taxes which may be due on Prize or Runners Up Prizes and to assess whether the prizes are suitable for the Winners and to read and comply with any safety notices or instruction manuals delivered with any Prize or Runners Up Prize.

  1. SPECIFIC RESTRICTIONS: 4.1. All entrants must be over 18 years of age at the date of entry and a legal resident in the UK.

4.2. Employees of UKTV and any company associated with this Competition and their relatives are expressly forbidden from entering the Competition.

4.3. All entrants must have the Internet service or mobile device bill payer’s permission prior to entering.

4.4. Entrants may be required to provide proof of identification and/or age before claiming the Prize.

  1. COMPETITION PERIOD: 5.1. The Competition will be open between 30th September 2015 and 8th October 2015.

5.2. Any entries received outside of the Competition Period (for whatever reason) will be invalid, but the entrant may still be charged for the entry where costs apply.

5.3. UKTV accepts no liability for any invalid, incomplete entries or entries not received by UKTV.

  1. WINNER SELECTION: 6.1. The Winner will be the first correct entry to be selected at random at the end of the Competition Period from all correct and eligible entries received.

6.2. The Runners Up will be the first nine (9) correct entries to be selected at random at the end of the Competition Period from all correct and eligible entries after the Winner has been drawn.

6.3. Winner and Runner Up selection by UKTV is final and no correspondence will be entered into whatsoever regarding such selection.

6.4. The Winner and the Runners Up must claim their prizes by successfully responding to the Promoter’s notification by email or telephone within twenty one (21) days of the Promoter’s first notification being sent. Please allow up to twenty one (21) days for delivery of the Prize.

  1. METHOD OF ENTRY & COST: Entrants can enter this Competition free of charge on the Gold webpage as per the process described in section 2.

  2. ENTRY LIMITATIONS: Only one entry per person is allowed and in the case of multiple entries, only the original entry will be counted. Any automated entries made by a ‘bot’ or by using any similar automated third party programme to submit multiple entries will be grounds for immediate disqualification. Where a Winner or Runner Up has been selected and UKTV discovers or has reasonable grounds to believe that Winner or Runner Up has used a ‘bot’ or similar third party software to submit multiple entries, UKTV shall have the absolute discretion to select an alternative winner. Any further entrant will be selected on the same criteria as the original entrant and will be subject to these Terms.

  3. PROMOTER: 9.1. This Competition is offered to entrants by UKTV Media Limited ("UKTV”). Our registered office is at 10 Hammersmith Grove, London W6 7AP.

  1. PRIZE PROVIDER:
    10.1. The Prize Provider is Ebury Publishing c/o Penguin Random House Group, with a registered office of 20 Vauxhall Bridge Rd, London, SW1V 2SA.

10.2. All prizes shall be delivered by the Prize Provider on behalf of the Promoter.

  1. PUBLICITY: Entry to the Competition gives UKTV the right, without separate consent or compensation, to publicise any Winners’ names and counties and to make further use of these in printed publications and on the Internet solely for administering this Competition in accordance with applicable law.

  2. LAW AND JURISDICTION: These Terms shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales, whose courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
