Who's who on board the Blackpool Express Is there a murderer amongst the misfits on the Blackpool-bound bus? of 11 TERRY (Johnny Vegas) Terry is an aimless, bored coach driver, spending his days ferrying around dull passengers on even duller literary tours around the North of England. An unlikely hero for sure, but this dejected driver is about to turn detective. GEMMA (Sian Gibson) Gemma is the bubbly owner and operator of Draper’s literary tours. It’s her life and she takes great pride in offering fantastic service, even though it's on board her dusty old coach. DAVID VAN DER CLANE (Griff Rhys Jones) Murder mystery author David is flamboyant, pretentious and self-obsessed. But he’s well known and successful enough to have a coach tour themed around his books. GEORGE (Matthew Cottle) and GRACE (Katy Cavanagh) Couple George and Grace are better than most people. Or so Grace believes. George just does what Grace tells him, as he’s found this is the easiest way to get through life. GRAHAM (Mark Heap) Graham is a lone figure on the coach. Gruff and uncommunicative, Graham seems to be quietly fuming that he has to tolerate the rag-tag collection of misfits he’s ended up on the coach with. BEN (Javone Prince) Ben is Gemma’s ex-boyfriend, although he has something of a problem accepting that fact. He won’t leave her alone, so much so that a judge has had to tell him to do so with a court order. MOIRA (Nina Wadia) Moira is a battle axe of an old woman. She has no friends and her only companion is her dutiful carer Laura, who Moira treats with utter disdain, regularly doling out verbal warnings for Laura’s minor mistakes. LAURA (Kimberley Nixon) Sweet and gentle Laura is the poor, put-upon carer to wheelchair bound Moira. DOC (Nigel Havers) Doc is a suave, debonair presence on the tour. The rest of the passengers are very impressed they have an actual Doctor on the coach. KEVIN (Kevin Eldon) Kevin is Doc’s brother and Doc is all he has to cling on to as Kevin has lost his memory. Doc tells him he had a bump on the head but it could be anything really. PEGGY (Una Stubbs), MILDRED (Sheila Reid) and MARGE (Susie Blake) Peggy (left) is amazed by the world around her but feels obliged to keep an eye on Mildred and make sure they have the best possible time on the tour. Mildred (centre) is 80 but, in many ways, still a child. She is the twinkle-eyed member of the group of three friends. Marge (right) is the seventy-year-old battle-axe who is their self-proclaimed leader. Slideshow Pause Show Images Hide Images Tweet
