1 NAME OF COMPETITION: ?Ave a Giraffe in the Bath (the ?Competition?).
2 COMPETITION ENTRY:
To take part in the Competition, entrants must watch the Gold channel between 8pm and 10pm to find the code on one of the five slides played over the allocated period. They then go to the Gold Facebook page or Gold Website and the ?Ave a Giraffe app (?Competition Game?) to enter the competition and insert the code word to be entered into the weekly random prize draw. There will be 4 prize draws over a 4 week competition period.
3 PRIZE:
There will be 4 prize winners in total (each a ?Winner?). Each Winner will receive:
1 x £1000 Flight Centre Vouchers (the ?Prize?).
No alternative prize will be given and the Prize is non-transferable and non-exchangeable. However, UKTV reserves the right to change the Prize due to circumstances beyond its control or to offer an alternative prize of similar value.
Each Winner agrees to absolve UKTV from any liability that may result from or is claimed to have resulted from participating in the Competition or from the acceptance or use of the Prize.
It is your responsibility to pay any and all applicable taxes which may be due on the Prize.
4 SPECIFIC RESTRICTIONS:
All entrants must be 18 years of age or over at the date of entry and must be a legal resident in the United Kingdom.
Employees of UKTV, any company associated with the Competition and their immediate families are not eligible to enter the Competition.
Winners please note that the prize will expire in 3 years from date of purchase therefore vouchers must be redeemed before this date. Please see voucher terms and conditions for details.
5 COMPETITION PERIOD:
Competition 1 - The Competition will be open from 20.00 on 10th Feb 2014 -19.59 on 17th Feb 2014 (the ?Competition Period?), with Winners being drawn by midday of Tuesday 18th February 2014 (the ?Draw Date?)
Competition 2 - The Competition will be open from 20.00 on 17th February 2014 - 19.59 on 24th February 2014 (the ?Competition Period?), with Winners being drawn by midday of Tuesday 25th February 2014 (the ?Draw Date?)
Competition 3 - The Competition will be open from 20.00 24th February 2014 ? 19.59 on 3rd March 2014 (the ?Competition Period?), with Winners being drawn by midday of Tuesday 4th March 2014 (the ?Draw Date?)
Competition 4 - The Competition will be open from 20.00 3rd March 2014 ? 19.59 on 10th March 2014 (the ?Competition Period?), with Winners being drawn by midday of Tuesday 11th March 2014 (the ?Draw Date?)
Any entries received outside of the Competition Period (for whatever reason) will be invalid but you may still be charged for the entry where costs apply.
6 WINNER SELECTION:
Each week during the Competition Period (defined below), the winner will be chosen by random prize draw and will win one (1) Prize.
UKTV shall have the final overall decision over Winner selection and this decision is final. No correspondence will be entered into.
Winners will be contacted by the Promoter via email within 7 days of the Draw Date.
UKTV reserve the right to ask winners for proof of ID
Winners will be asked to supply the name of the county in which they live so that their name and county may be posted on the Gold website for the purposes of administrating this Competition. For the avoidance of doubt Winners? details will only ever be used for the purposes of properly administrating this Competition in accordance with applicable law.
Each Winner must claim the Prize by successfully responding to the Promoter?s notification within 14 days of the Promoter?s first notification being sent. Failure to successfully claim the relevant prize within the timeline stipulated may result in the prize being forfeited and an alternate Winner being selected, who may have a shorter period of time to claim the Prize.
Please allow 31 days for delivery of your Prize from the date you successfully claim your Prize. UKTV will not be liable if the Prize fails to reach you or you cannot take it or redeem it for reasons beyond our control or if any Prize is damaged during delivery or for any other additional expenses arising out of acceptance of the Prize.
7 METHOD OF ENTRY & COST:
You can enter this Competition free of charge through the Gold Facebook page (www.facebook.com/goldtvchannel) or Gold website http://goldtv.co.uk/giraffe during the Competition Period and entering the correct code word. All entrants who successfully enter the correct code word will be entered into a prize draw to win the prize.
8 ENTRY LIMITATIONS: Only one entry per person is allowed and multiple entries will be discounted. Any automated entries made by a ?bot? or by using any similar third party software to submit multiple entries will be grounds for immediate disqualification. Where a Winner has been selected and UKTV discovers or has reasonable grounds to believe the Winner has used a ?bot? or third party software to submit multiple entries, UKTV shall have the absolute discretion to select an alternative Winner.

11 LAW AND JURISDICTION:
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales, whose courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
