Classic 1990s comedy following the exploits of the Porters, a seemingly average family whose world is frequently turned upside-down by bad luck and bizarre occurrences. Bill (Belinda Lang) has to cope with her adolescent daughter (Clare Buckfield), her trouble-making son (John Pickard) and her well-meaning but immature husband Ben (Gary Olsen), all the while looking after the house and running a catering business. Statistically, the Porters may just be an ordinary family, but there's nothing average about this endearingly demented portrait of modern family life.
